I actually enjoy riding the bus, partly because it's a great place to practice your drawing skills. The human body is one of the most difficult things to draw, and you can really never have enough practice.
Bookstores are another great place to do this sort of thing (why do you think they have cafes and reading chairs?).
I am a graduate of the University of Washington. I've contributed cartoons to the school's newspaper "The Daily," and illustrations two textbooks, "Sustainability Unpacked" and the upcoming "The River of Life," both edited by Kristiina A. Vogt.
Today I am working as a freelance artist and I am always ready for the next great project.
